The visually impaired have many technical tools to assist them in reading and utilizing computers. This interview will introduce you to the Blind Beacon Project that has been developed by Dr. Vinod Namboordiri, a professor at Wichita State University. Dr. Namboodiri has designed a navigational aide that can be utilized on a smart phone that gives verbal direction to the user who wants to find a specific room in a building.
