Wayne Potter, host of Keeping Kurrent interviews Bob Jackson, biology teacher, city council member and one-time mayor of Kechi, Kansas, who is also a wood carver. Bob lives in a small town, Kechi Kansas. The town has about 2000 residents. Bob served as a city council member for a number of years and was elected as the Mayor. Currently, Bob is retired, and spends some of his time carving song birds. He is helping preserve our memory of the North American bird population which has diminished by 29% over the last 50 years.
