Humpty Dumpty (Nursery Rhyme) - Lyrics and Instrumental Music. Humpty Dumpty is a character in an English nursery rhyme, which was probably originally written as a riddle. It is one of the best known nursery rhymes in the English-speaking world. Though not explicitly described, Humpty Dumpty is usually portrayed as an egg. The first recorded version dates from the early nineteenth century and the tune from 1870. Its origins are obscure; several theories have been advanced to suggest original meanings.

LYRICS:
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the King's horses, And all the King's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again!
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the King's horses, And all the King's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again!
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the King's horses, And all the King's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again!
