Gerry Weiner was a pharmacist by profession when he jumped into politics, first as mayor of Dollard des Ormeaux and then for nine years as a Federal Member of Parliament and cabinet minister for the Conservative government, He later presided over the Equality Party and sat on Montreal city council. He remains very busy today in a number of consulting capacities.
