For as long as the genre’s been around, rap has been deeply connected with authenticity and the idea of “being real.” And for Denver rapper Saint Joe, it’s a concept he both takes to heart and explores in his latest leak, “Being Real,” featuring West Philly Freck and Hypnautic (of acclaimed Colorado crew Top Flite Empire), who all display wordplay-laden verses. The track boasts a strings-laden, sample-flipping instrumental from Dialectic, and the track itself will appear on Joe’s upcoming album, ‘Thinning Out The Heard,’ which is set to drop Aug 5 through all major digital retailers via Joe’s K.R.A.K Productions, LLC imprint. “Being Real” is now available for stream, and can now be purchased off the iTunes pre-order for Thinning Out the Heard, as the project’s second instant grat track.
