The 2026 Archdiocesan Synod Working Document will guide the discussion and discernment at the Archdiocesan of Adelaide Synod in May and June 2026. Over six months, five writing groups and an editorial board worked to develop 5 Key Theme papers and provide supporting documents. The Key themes were developed from the consultations and outcomes of our Diocesan Assemblies, the plenary Council and the Global Synod on Synodality. Each theme concludes with a set of recommendations for action in the Archdiocese, our parishes, communities and schools.
