Description

Welcome to a very motivating & insightful conversation, as I'm joined by open-water swimmer & now coach, Chloe McCardel.

Chloe is a World Record breaking open-water swimmer, having set a new world-record, Completing 124.4 kilometers in a bit over 41 hours, The longest unassisted ocean swim.

Recently too - which was a true 'feel-good' story during 2020 -
She beat the Mens record for English Channel swims - on her 35th English Channel Swim.

We unpack her story and really pick apart the psychology & ultimately as a result the physiology of how she has been able to achieve such seemingly unfathomable feats…

Among many other topics & ideas covered, Chloe shares her thoughts around:

- The importance of doing what you love

- The beauty of nature & open-water

- The relationship between pursuing a passion & our level of fulfillment

- Why discipline is so important, and how to cultivate it

- The Importance of getting outside our comfort zones!

- Lessons learned along the way of her career

- Why understanding the brain & human body can help us perform better, and FEEL better

- How to view FAILURE as DATA

- Working through doubt, and setbacks

As well as much more....

You guys are in for a treat with this one.
