BLACK WIDOW
(Poem by Nick G. Coward)
When you saw my life upon the line you got me with your steel Iron twine
And just when I thought I was safe within this web of sin you entered in
So what happens now I’m trapped within your power tower this black widows web
It’s so hellish now I’m trapped within your power tower
And who will set me free
I’m not so often blinded
And who will catch my breath
Of which my foes reminded
And who will catch my breath
Of which my foes reminded
This black widows web
This black widow
This hellish mould where creatures lay so bold, with no stories told
Eight thighs of bleak and spinless cheeks and mystic feats
And where’s this temple kindness? I’m stuck within and fineless . . . fineless
It’s where I’m located and encapsulated
And who will set me free
I’m not so often blinded
And who will catch my breath
Of which my foes reminded
This black widows web
