This week, Jeanette and special guest, Myles Webb, come together to talk about the 2008 dystopian action thriller, Death Race. Inspired by the 1975 film, Death Race 2000, and written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, the remake stars Jason Statham as a retired racer who is sent to a maximum prison after being framed for murdering his wife. Once in prison, he makes a deal with the prison warden for early release IF he wins Death Race, a vehicular combat racing series where inmates compete in modified cars and fight to the death in order to be one step closer to winning their freedom.
