Riane is a social systems scientist, cultural historian, and attorney whose research, writing, and speaking has transformed the lives of people worldwide. Her newest work, Nurturing Our Humanity: How Domination and Partnership Shape Our Brains, Lives, and Future shows how to construct a more equitable, sustainable, and less violent world based on partnership rather than domination.

Riane is internationally known for her bestseller and seminal work The Chalice and The Blade: Our History, Our Future, which Ashley Montagu called “the most important book since Darwin’s Origin of Species”

Currently, Riane is president of the Center for Partnership Studies (CPS), which is dedicated to research and education.
