Description

Jim Corkery is a Jesuit theologian who teaches in the Gregorian University in Rome. He is also a member of the Centre for the Protection of Minors there. In this interview he speaks with Pat Coyle of Irish Jesuit Communications, he argues that there needs to be a re- examination of the theory of salvation, in the light of the experience of  survivors of abuse who did not sin but were sinned against, in this area. We need to listen to them, learn from them, and evaluate our understanding of power, sin and grace, in the light of what they tell us.
