We all live under the shadow of nuclear holocaust. Most of the time we can dismiss the phenomenon cognitively because of the distance and statistics of it all, and yet we remain in that shadow constantly. This episode discusses the story of people who lived quite literally in the shadow of the bomb, and for them the reality of nuclear weapons was anything but distant or statistical.
