It's Teacher Appreciation Weekend at Emerald Downs, this Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21. All school district employees receive free admission for themselves and a guest on both days. First race 2 pm. It's Preakness time and EmD is open for simulcasters at 8 am on Friday and 7 am Saturday. The Preakness goes at 4 pm, between live races 4 and 5 on Saturday. Matt Johnson of the Seahawks and Sounders speaks to Dori Monson as a friend and colleague. Saturday's third race is the "Dori Monson Memorial Purse," with family and friends remembering the Seattle radio host and a great racing fan. Trainer Candi Cryderman also joins Joe, Vince and Bill on this week's show.
