– Graeme Kemlo meets Christopher George a country teenager who used to get up at 2 am and ride his bicycle to work in a Victorian country bakery. But having seen Paris and tasted this patisserie on a holiday visit he decided he could do more in the kitchen. So four years ago he opened a very French patisserie in Black Rock, then another a couple of years later in Parkdale and now, amidst the worst pandemic in history, he has opened a third Flavours Patisserie in Beaumaris, around the corner from Graeme Kemlo. And, having been to Paris many times, Graeme is declaring their croissant and the café’s ambience the most authentic he has experienced outside of France.
