Graeme Kemlo reflects on the sad loss of broadcaster/educator Dr Michael Mosley who died on a Greek island recently and was not found for four days. Graeme and Michael both shared the onset of diabetes type 2 late in life and the medico-turned-TV presenter and author did much to educate the public about this and other chronic diseases. We will miss his plain speak, his willingness to undertake various trials in the name of medicine and his revelations about the benefits of various types of fasting on blood glucose levels in the body.
