In early Federation Melbourne, Cliveden (pron: cleeve-den) Mansion was a social hub for the city’s artistic community. Today the Pullman Hotel in East Melbourne, sits on the site of the landmark 1887 mansion, and its Cliveden Bar and Restaurant is renewing that lively spirit. The Cliveden is just across from the MCG where 100,000+ watched as the AFL’s Grand Final celebrations erupted last weekend.
