When Graeme Kemlo went to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef recently he did the lot - the reef (twice), the fast wave-piercing power catamaran, the helicopter…the rainforest. But he did not know much at all about the aviation economics that will drive growth for Tropical North Queensland (TNQ, as it is known) But he listened to a speech by the dynamic CEO of Tourism Tropical North Queensland, Mark Olsen, and later asked him for the 30,000-foot view of the aviation economics and narrow-bodied fuel-efficient jets.
