Organisers of the Birdsville Big Red Bash in remote south west Queensland are claiming a world record as more than 4000 boot scooters performed the Nutbush dance to Tina Turner’s soul classic from 1973.
The old record was 2878 dancers set at last year’s Birdsville event.
Matt Williams’ photo of the mass Nutbush might give listeners a challenge to visit Birdsville in 2023 and that’s a good thing.
