Description

And while Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens, right across the Yarra River from the city has an international reputation almost from day one when it attracted famed German botanist, Baron Ferdinand Von Mueller as its first director, there’s another Royal Botanic Garden in Melbourne that is much lesser known. It is RBG Cranbourne. And while the city garden is largely European in style and content, Cranbourne is an Australian Native Garden which features a huge red-sand desert , more like an artwork depicving droughts and flooding rain, than your traditional garden bed.
