Stefano Urso in art “Steve Hammer”, was born in 1988 in Scorrano (Lecce), a little city in the south of Italy. His musical origin is inspired from popular folk culture from Salento in the magnificent Puglia region. When he was fourteen years old, he started to appreciate the musical creativity in the clubbing scene. Having developed a solid following in the Puglia region, he moved to Venice at the age of eighteen to continue to explore his passion for house music. Here he built his studio, dedicating himself to the cult of sound through analog machines, such as the mpc 2500, and started to play live across Venice always refining his music, which evolved from house music to include minimal and techno-house vibes. He produces a unique fresh sound that is well worth a listen.
