Songs surprise ya, like poems - something's in my head, I write it out, it ain't right, try to take the written notion and ride with it. I could spend six hours on this and make it technically better. I also trust spontaneity and the moment. It's a song about growing up and getting old and learning to sing like a baby and cry like man.
