The Wort Hotel was established in 1941. Before that, Charles Wort used the plot of land as a livery stable and gas station. The historic hotel has won numerous awards and their Silver Dollar Bar draws visitors and locals alike. We talked with General Manager Jim Waldrop about what makes the hotel so iconic and all that's in store for their Diamond Anniversary.
Thursday, May 26th at 11:30am, Governor Matt Mead will give a celebratory toast and from 5-9pm they will offer "Anniversary Ale" from Snake River Brew Pub.
