We spoke with the new CEO of St. John's Medical Center, former anesthesiologist Dr. Paul Beaupré, about their alliance with the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah. We asked Dr. Beaupré how this will benefit our community, how his work in medicine prepared him for his current position, and about the state of cancer treatment in our country overall.
The community is invited to a Ceremony & Celebration to recognize the affiliation of St. John's Medical Center with the University of Utah's renowned Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). The event, which will feature speakers from the health centers and remarks by community members, will take place on Friday, December 2, at 10:30 am in the hospital lobby.
