Description

Becky Collier, the Senior Avian Educator at the Teton Raptor Center, joined us to talk about the cultural narrative surrounding owls. We asked her what owls represent to different groups of people, how cultural meaning influences the way owls are treated, and why it's important to respect their place in the ecosystem. She also gave us an update on the 34-year-old Bald Eagle they are caring for, the 3rd oldest ever recorded in the U.S.
