The deadline to apply to serve on the Wyoming Public Lands Initiative Advisory Board is 4 p.m. Friday. The advisory board will advise county commissioners to designate wilderness study areas as wilderness, release the land from protection, or reclassify the land. Seats are expected to last around 2 or 3 years and they need between 13 and 20 spots filled. We talked with one of the Teton County Commissioners, Paul Volgelheim, to learn more.
