Local writer Nanci Turner Steveson was greatly impacted by what she ingested as a young reader. Now, she creates fictional tales for young readers (called "Middle Grade Fiction" in the publishing business) herself. Harper Collins recently put out her novel "Swing Sideways" and she's got another called "Georgia Rules" on the way. We talked about how you write for kids living in the digital age, what surfaced from her own childhood in her books, her creative motivation, and the themes that are making the book popular across generations.
She'll have a reading and book-signing at the Teton County Library on September 14th at 6pm.
