Description

It's Part 2 of Indie Comics! We're going from the 80s to today, covering Art Spiegelman, Dark Horse, Image, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Too Much Coffee Man, Milk and Cheese, Dork!, Bone, and the Tick!

We also talk about how many indie comics became big movies and TV shows that you have enjoyed and how one self-published comic became one of the 20th century's hugest franchises.

NOTES / DON'T @ US:
- We know that we left out approximately two billion comics that you and we love. We note that and leave the door open for another round of "OMG this is good and this is awesome and I love this!" down the road.
- We again gave credit to (I think) all the creators discussed. There are some other Big Two creators (especially artists) that felt like indies, worked a lot in indies, and moved their books away from Muscle Dude Punching Muscle Dude! styles that we should highlight besides the wonderful Bill Sienkiewicz (New Mutants), like Tom Mandrake (Spectre), Kelley Jones (Batman), and Rick Veitch and Tom Totleben (Swamp Thing), among others.
- If you want to check any of these out, please go to your local comic book shop or local bookstore rather than clicking on the button on That Big Online Store That Has More Money Than Many Countries. Libraries are great, too.
