Description

This week, we're talking about Alfred Jarry's novella "Exploits and Opinions of Dr. Faustroll, Pataphysician". It's the 1898 absurd story and philosophical ideas of a ridiculous, impossible man. It's not a very long book and is easy to find online. If you like metanarrative, dada, absurd satire, dirty jokes, or feeling like a real smart smartie, check this book out.

NOTES / DON'T @ US:
- Jarry's plays about Pere Ubu are also a lot of fun. Those are about a dumb baby-man instead of an impossible genius, so they're kind of the "Waiting for Godot" to Faustroll's "Tristram Shandy".

- If you didn't follow the references in that last sentence, don't worry. It's just Mad Libs for overeducated dorkuses. But also, go read those, because they're great.
