Colossians 3:9 commands us "Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self. You are being renewed in knowledge according to the image of your Creator." Lies of omission and lies to cover up covert behavior are just as bad as lies from your lips. The devil is called the father of lies and, when he lies, is said to speak in his native tongue. Don't lie. Don't speak in the language of the enemy of God.
