Hace mucho tiempo tuve la suerte de poder entrevistar al maestro Cattaneo, y ante la pregunta de cual estilo definía mejor su sonido, contesto lo siguiente:
"No me gusta guiarme por las etiquetas de género que se les ponen a las canciones. Ni definir mi sonido hacia un estilo u otro. Para mí la electrónica sólo se divide en dos. La que me gusta y me encaja en alguno de mis sets, y la que no. Me da igual el género del que sea"
Todas las buenas canciones, independientemente del estilo que sean, tienen su momento y lugar adecuado. Saber ponerlas donde corresponde para que los que las escuchen, las disfruten, es el superpoder que tienen los dj´s muy muy buenos, y con muchas horas de vuelo a sus espaldas. Lo llaman, PSICOLOGÍA DE PISTA.

A long time ago I was lucky enough to be able to interview maestro Cattaneo, and when asked which style best defined his sound, I answered the following:
"I don't like to be guided by the genre labels that are placed on songs. Nor do I like to define my sound towards one style or another. For me, electronic music is only divided into two. The one that I like and that fits me in one of my sets , and the one that doesn't. I don't care what gender it is."
All good songs, regardless of their style, have their right time and place. Knowing how to put them where they belong so that those who listen to them enjoy them is the superpower that very, very good DJs have, and with many hours of flight behind them. They call it, TRACK PSYCHOLOGY.
