08th December - Monaco’s Government Advisor-Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Christophe ROBINO, has announced the launch of a national policy for the inclusion of people with disabilities in the Principality. “Because disability is everyone’s business” -
The Government Advisor-Minister of Social Affairs and Health has launch - The National Policy for the inclusion of people with disabilities concerning nine areas of action: including, raising public awareness of all types of disabilities, education and training, employment and work, housing and construction, mobility and accessibility, support and care, access to sport, culture and leisure and international recognition.
The Launch of the “I’m ready” initiative aims t make Monaco a land of excellence in terms of disability inclusion, the Government is proposing a pact to all stakeholders in society, intended to ensure that everyone " be ready ". Ready to receive, welcome, understand, recruit, educate, train, work with people with disabilities.
And - In addition to the Christmas Village which opened its doors on Thursday 7 December, a vast area of fun and sports activities will take up residence on the South Darse of the Port of Monaco, from Friday 15 December 2023 at 16 p.m. to Sunday 7 January 2024. Several flagship facilities: A tree climbing course and 3 obstacle courses of increasing difficulty inspired by the famous TV game show Ninja Warrior.
Finally, the first of its kind in the Principality... a 180-metre-long zip line will allow the bravest to fly over the Route de la Piscine with a departure from the highest diving board of the Rainier Nautical Stadium swimming pool.
