H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince has officially opened the “Maison du numérique” (Digital Technology House) in the presence of the Minister of State Pierre Dartout and along side a number of political and economic figures in the Principality.
Launched by the Prince’s Government, Monaco Telecom and Monaco City Hall as part of the Principality’s digital transformation programme it is now open to the general public. The new centre is located at the Jardins d’Apolline, and offers digital support services to local residents.
The initiative is aimed at ensuring that all Monegasque nationals, residents and employees —of all ages— are equipped with the understanding and knowledge needed to use the digital products and services available in the Principality.
Equipped with interactive terminals and a wide range of computer and digital equipment (smartphones, tablets, computers, connected televisions, fibre modem, WiFi terminals etc.), the “Maison du numérique” will offer a varied programme throughout the year in fully modular facilities:
Don’t forget on Friday July 21st the Herculis meeting is taking place. The Herculis is an annual athletics meeting held in Monaco and part of the top tier athletics series, the Diamond League. The first event took place in 1987 at the newly constructed Stade Louis II, where it continues today. In 2010, the event joined the inaugural Diamond League season. 2023 will mark the 37th edition of Herculis and takes place in the summer of 2023.
