“On that night, the king's sleep was disturbed…” -Esther 6:1
Rabbi Jacob Halevi, known as the Maharil, (5120-5187 - 1360-1427) writes that at this verse (Esther 6:1) the reader should raise his voice, for this is the “might of the miracle!”
Yalkut Shimoni explains that this verse is referring to G-d, the, “King of the Universe!” It was the sleep of G-d, so to speak, that was disturbed on that night, and this is the might of the miracle, that G-d’s, so to speak, was woken from His sleep.
