Our modern-day issue for this lecture is: How do we fix our internal flat tire
Our passion is the air in our internal tire, which allows us to pursue our dreams. However, all too often, instead of being able to contain the passion within our tire, we end up decapitated, with a flat tire, not being able to pursue our destiny. Instead we are stuck in a life of frustration, knowing that we can do so much better, and yet we can’t. Not when our gas of passion is leaking out, instead of compounding and lifting us into mobility.
Thus, our modern-day issue is clear: How can we compound the passion within a leak-free mind and heart, so that it compels us all the way to the finish line?
This lecture is based primarily on a maamor the Rebbe delivered on this Shabbat, in 1965, exploring the mystical secrets behind Pinchas’ act of passion, which finally brought him to his destiny of being a Kohain.
