Extract from live video recorded on 14 January 2005 during the descent and landing of ESA's Huygens probe. In this clip, scientists have just been informed that a global network of radio telescopes had received signals from Huygens as it touched down on Saturn's moon Titan, the first indication that the descent had gone well. Scientists and mission controllers had to wait a bit longer, until 17:19 CET, for the actual data relayed by NASA's Cassini orbiter to arrive.
Voices of the event moderator and several of the scientists, followed by ESA project scientist for Huygens, Jean-Pierre Lebreton.
