We can spend our lives editing and refining ourselves as we hustle to fit in and feel like we belong, especially as those who – perhaps due to our sexuality – never really feel like we fit in. I contend that this hustle disconnects from ourselves and a reason why we can feel so lonely even when we’re surrounded by people.
