As soon as we heard this track we knew we had to sign it. Raw and emotional feel good vibes, perfect for the open air, the end of the night or the break of sunrise. We love the simplicity and wanted the remixes to keep this original idea whilst providing alternative versions for different dance floors. With that in mind we took things a bit heavier with our Audiojack remix and enlisted Jonathan Kaspar to take things deeper with the second mix.
Solarris explains how the record came together with Secondcity in New York last year “We had been in the studio all day and hit a wall. It was -5 outside and the snow was almost knee high. Just as we were packing up to leave the studio we started jamming out on the euro rack and Oberheim OB8 for a bit of fun as they sound so amazing that I wanted to fly it all home with us. Without realising, a few hours had passed and we were still jamming so we recorded what we were doing and printed everything as it was, all the effects, automation etc was done on the fly and the track is the end result of that. Something very different from both of us that feels more like a recorded performance for me and in a sense, immortalises those few hours we spent having so much fun on that bitterly cold winter night.”
