Mpumelelo "Phantom Toes" Mhlongo was born with a condition called constrictive ring syndrome and a club foot, he was told he would never amount to anything because of his disability. Well, he thought otherwise. Gold medals, world records and honours bestowed on him by the South African presidency have catapulted the into a global superstar. Not only does the 30-year-old excel on the track, but also in academics where he has completed a doctorate at the University of Cape Town. He is an inspiration to millions and proof that even a disability isn't enough to prevent you from chasing and achieving your dreams.
