This time we hear from Detroit producer and multi-instrumentalist Jason Hogans AKA :brownstudy. Jason's debut on Carl Craig's Planet E in 1998 (after an introduction from Recloose) helped pave a new direction for the seminal label. Since then, he has built a vast discography of creative excursions into electronic music for Mahogani Music, Moods & Grooves Records, FACES Records, and his own Really Nice Recordings. We celebrate his recent Fresh Concerns EP for Alelah Records and his Malletts Creek EP for Theo Parrish's Sound Signature with a two hour journey thru the best songs around.
