Passage: 2 Timothy 2:8 - This passage is all about a gospel focus on Jesus - who He is, what He did and why it matters for us today. 2 Timothy is Paul's parting words from prison to his friend and co-worker Timothy, passing on the baton of gospel ministry to ensure that it's remembered and proclaimed in the face of increasing opposition and threat, from within and without. We need to keep the main thing the main thing! The gospel is all about the Lord Jesus - he's our hope, our saviour & our king, come what may.
