Walk with Boston Red Cloaks and listen in as we participate in a peaceful anti-racism gathering held in support of Follen Church, a Massachusetts congregation that was targeted by a racist hate group - seemingly because Follen prominently posts a Black Lives Matter banner at their church. Red Cloaks carried signs reading #SayHerName with names of some of the Black women who have been unjustly killed: Breonna Taylor, Dominque Fells, Brayla Stone, Vanessa Guillen, Oluwatoyin Salau, Merci Mack, Riah Milton, along with signs reading "We are in this together" and "Courage calls to courage everywhere." Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died two days prior; this was the first in-person gathering of the Boston Red Cloaks since COVID shut down most day-to-day life in Massachusetts in March. With members across the state of Massachusetts, a member alerted the Boston Red Cloaks, and those who were able came out as an anti-racism action. In addition to congregants, more than 150 people lined both sides of the street with Black Lives Matter signs, and messages of love and kindness. Note that all members wore masks throughout, which may be audible. Following this event, the group continued to Concord. Look for: "Walk With Us Part 2"
