Hannah invites OSU Livestock and Range Management Field Faculty, Chris Schachtschneider, on to discuss utilizing livestock for fire mitigation. Chris shares one of his field study findings about using livestock grazing to effectively prevent fire spread. Hannah and Chris discuss how this applies to the wildfires that we are seeing in recent years and how livestock producers, land owners, and public lands can work together to stop the spread of fire using livestock.
