On the one hand, it was simple - "do something in 3, in a waltzy kind of way." On the other, it was time to do something a little different with the chords, so I went with a simple (on paper!) i - bII7 - i - V7. Not so simple on the lead line. There was a false start or two in there, before this came into being.
Not really *feeling* trepidation today, but the sound of this song reminds me of that emotion.
