In a year that will forever be marked by the outbreak of COVID-19 and the destruction that followed, whether in the loss of loved ones or the shutting down of various aspects of the economy, including the film industry; 2020 in film is going to be remembered one way or another. We don't think it will be for a lack of quality films that were produced and released on various streaming platforms, our hope is that it is remembered for being the most diverse list of nominations in the long history of these prestigious awards!
