Blackpotion (Fei Fei) is a DJ and live performer who's style conjures harsh industrial rhythms, EBM, and Techno that channels anger and agony. Her interest in connecting like minded artists, led her to collaborate on organizing various artistic events also performed in them to celebrate the subcultures influenced Electronic music in Bejing, China. The events featured artists that experimented with Industrial, Techno, Electronic Body Music (EBM), Post-punk, Coldwave. The successes of these events rippled to other cities and had her invited to perform at various venues across China. After she moved to Boston, she played Techno and industrial events organized by Infra and Ceremony.
She’s currently studying Electronic Production and Design (EPD) at the Berklee college of music. Blackpotion is also a Eurorack synth builder, and she enjoys experimenting with soundscapes, dark ambient, and different synthesis techniques combines both analog and digital technologies
