This is the recording of the January edition of New Seeds, my live radio show broadcast on myhouseyourhouse.net.
A certain mid-life milestone occurred the next day so it was the perfect time to revisit the artists and bands, sounds and influences that have played a part in this thing called life.
Following a timeline format, it starts with the early day influences, the records and music I heard on the wireless and from my Mum and Dad's record collection and the cassettes I'd saved up to buy with my pocket money. The teenage and early 20's are next, where music took over my life with some very questionable favourites!. After that we hit the uni with the explosion of dance music into the mainstream proper before the wilderness years of my late 20's to mid 30's. The show ends with the last 6 years where music took over again, with sounds that take in all of the styles played so far.
