With the exception of three tracks that are organized around predetermined thematic and harmonic elements (Misterioso, Beatrice, and Theme), this recording documents an improvisational conversation between two friends in two sessions, six months apart. We listened and responded to each other’s sounds as they happened. Structures and nuances that emerged were spontaneous and intuitive.
