In November 2024, shortly after the U.S. presidential election, the two of us went to Chicago's Narwhal Studios to record spontaneous music with our longtime friend and recording engineer, Brian Deck. Over two days—November 15 and 16—we captured our immediate reactions to current events through spontaneous, improvised musical conversations.
