Illinois State Senator Terri Bryant joined WXAN to talk about the recent announcement that the Baldwin Power Plant will remain online at least thru the end of 2027. Also discussed the potential for "mini nukes" to provide power for Southern Illinois, and the Southern Illinois Coal Mines selling their product to European and Chinese Energy Companies.
