This podcast episode is meant to be very direct and to put an end to people asking other people to do work for them.
In school, we are taught how to look up research studies. If you are given a title and the authors, you already have a Head Start.
If you have to start from scratch, do the work. You didn’t in school and you gotta do it now.
Don’t ask that of other people.
You are saying that their time should revolve around what you need.
Ever thought of the busy schedule each person has? Of the many items that person needs to do for their own self?
Often, it feels awkward for them to say no, because most physical therapists are people pleasers and feel awful about saying no. So, they often say yes and begrudgingly do the work for you. They worry about being mean if they say no.
This needs to stop. If you are looking for research, go find the research. You have literally spent tons of money to learn how to do it.
Please stop asking for other people to get or find the link to research studies for you.
It’s rude.
